Hearts of Hope for Katrina I knew how overwhelming the needs were from my trips back to the Gulf Coast weeks and months after the storm. I saw the vacant looks in the eyes of those we were in line with on our many trips to Wal-Mart and Lowe's....I knew I wanted to do more. I wanted to make a contribution and help in some small way.
