Empowering Women Through Power Tools

As Mother’s Day quickly approaches, Habitat for Humanity and Lowe’s branches prepare for the annual Women Build, an event encouraging females to take an active role in the fight for safe, affordable housing. In addition to the build, Habitat for Humanity of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and the Lowe’s of D’Iberville, MS are partnering to host a clinic to give individuals personal instruction on the confident and precise use of power tools. Hands-on teaching will be given on the use of a compound miter saw and air nailing tools in framing, roofing and siding.
